Precision Pest Control services both sides of Plano, from the mature, tree lined streets around Old Towne and East Plano to the newer corporate corridor and subdivisions near Legacy West and the Highway 121 corridor. Each part of the city calls for a different pest profile, so we treat by neighborhood, not by a single citywide plan.

Older East Plano and Old Towne carry mature trees and established landscaping, which brings spiders, ants, and termites working into decades old wood framing and pier and beam sections near the historic district. Newer construction closer to Legacy West and west Plano deals more with wasps and mosquitoes around fresh retention ponds and irrigation, along with fleas and ticks carried in from greenbelt trails along Rowlett Creek and Spring Creek. Both sides of the city see ants and spiders citywide, but where colonies establish and how deep termite pressure runs changes with how old the neighborhood actually is.
Plano splits along old and new lines, and that split is the first thing we account for on any inspection here. East Plano and the Old Towne historic district near 15th Street carry homes going back decades, with mature trees, established landscaping, and pier and beam foundations that give termites and ants easier structural access than a newer slab home would. Termite pressure in this part of the city tends to run deeper because colonies have had more time to settle into aging wood framing, so we spend more time on crawl spaces and foundation edges here than on the west side of town.
West Plano and the corridor around Legacy West look almost nothing like that. Newer corporate campuses and subdivisions built out over the last two decades bring retention ponds and heavily irrigated landscaping that hold water differently than an older yard, which is part of why wasps and mosquitoes show up more consistently in that part of the city. Greenbelt trails along Rowlett Creek and Spring Creek run through several newer neighborhoods, and fleas and ticks travel in from that brush and grass more than they do in denser, older blocks. We do not run the same treatment plan on a fifteen year old home near Legacy West that we would on a fifty year old home in Old Towne, because the pest pressure driving each one is genuinely different.
